- GASP Program Training:In September 2025, AWARD trained 28 participants in a 5-day workshop aimed to strengthen institutional capacity in gender-responsive policy development and implementation within the agrifood systems space. The workshop had strong representation from the Ministry of Agriculture, ActionAid International, and World Vision, alongside partners including GIZ. The program covered gender concepts, institutional assessments, GAPo, SWOT, RBET, and participatory gender analysis tools. These sessions built a shared understanding among participants of gender issues across institutions, policies, and society. Our GRASP Fellows—Nelly Phiri, Justina Chivanga, and Emelin Mwenda—delivered insightful presentations on applying the GAPo tool, which stimulated meaningful dialogue on institutional integration.
